The Challenge
Teachers and school leaders were managing increasingly complex and emotionally demanding workloads, often extending well beyond contracted hours. The organisation needed a clearer understanding of how work was being performed, where inefficiencies existed, and which demands were contributing most significantly to stress, fatigue, and workforce strain.
The Approach
ViVID combined human-centred work design, organisational psychology research, and workload analysis to examine how teachers and principals experienced their daily work.
Through task analysis, time studies, workload mapping, perceived efficiency assessments, and cost analytics, the team identified key patterns influencing sustainability, workforce capability, and performance.
